Welcome to the contest pages for Contest 37: Atlas Mountains. This is a Poseidon contest, and should only be played with Poseidon V2.1. You will not be able to play this contest with Zeus V1.x. Use the links below to download the starting positions and the optional audio add-ons:

After downloading, players should run the executable, and follow the on screen instructions. When prompted, choose to extract the archive to the directory in which Poseidon.ico is located (by default C:\Impressions Games\Zeus).
Story
CityBuildingContests.net presents Atlas Mountains, a speed contest for Poseidon. This contest will test your ability to balance construction with the needs of your growing city, as you race to build a mighty city to the glory of your family's patron, Atlas.
Will you succeed where others have failed? Only time will tell...
Rules
All entries must meet the following completion criteria at the time of submission:
- Sanctuary to Atlas 100% complete
- Major Shrine to Atlas 100% complete
The valid entries will then be separated according to the following winning criteria:
- Speed (fastest time wins)
- Population
The second winning criterion will only be used to separate entries that are not split by the first winning criterion.
Designer's Notes
Remember to save your game every December. An increase in the price of oranges, a non-tradeable commodity, is scripted to occur every December as a reminder to make this save. These saved games should not be submitted with your entry, but must be made available should we request them during judging.
Some resources are not available immediately. You will need to work out how to make them available! Atlas has been known to reward loyalty from time to time...
