Contest SubmissionsYou may upload your contest submissions here using the form below. Please note that your files must be compressed into a zip archive with the file extension of ".zip". To achieve that, use a programme, such as Winzip (for Windows) or gzip (for Unix). Please only put one (1) file per zip archive, and ensure that the file size does not exceed 300 kilobytes. Remember that you may submit more than one entry for a contest, but only the best will be included in the overall standings. We request that you use the following naming convention when submitting your entries: username_contestname_difficulty_number. Note the use of the underscore(_) to separate the different regions of the filename. The upload utility is looking for a zip file name with three underscores and no spaces! For example, the user citybuilder submitting a file for the contest Deathmatch at Hard difficulty, would name the files citybuilder_deathmatch_hard_1. If this hypothetical competitor chose to submit a second entry for the same contest, it would be named citybuilder_deathmatch_hard_2. Both the saved game within the archive and the .zip archive itself should be named according to this convention. Only alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers) may be included in the filename; spaces and punctuation marks, aside from the underscore (_), are not permitted. The most important thing to remember is that the upload script is, of necessity, quite dumb. It's expecting your files to be named in a certain way, and if they're not, then it most likely won't accept them. As well as checking things like the filetype, the script also counts the number of underscore ( _ ) characters in the filename. Your upload will only be accepted if there are exactly three underscores in the filename (no more, no less). To name your file: 1. Begin with your username. If your username contains spaces or underscores,
then remove them. For clarity, it often helps to use capital letters where
the spaces might have been (for example, I would use CaesarAlan as the
first part of my entry). Copyright © 2000-2010 CityBuildingContests.net.
