The studio was closed May 4th.

Lords of the Realm III was the last gasp of the decimated development team. There will be no patches coming for Lords 3.

Most of the staf was cut two years ago in April and have since formed Tilted Mill, a independent studio. As you know they weill be releasing their first game "Children of the Nile" later this year.

VU/Sierra tried to sell Impressions Games and failing that they chose to close it down. Another studio owned by VU/Sierra, Papyrus, famous for the Nascar racing series is also apparently suffering a similar fate.

It is just my personal guess, that any future game that comes from VU/Sierra will be done by BreakAway Games, which did the work on Cleopatra, the Cleopatra patch, and Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom.

@Seebaer
Schade, schade.

Yes, it's an end of an era. Papyrus, the studio responsible for the racking sims like Nascar Racing 2004 has been closed as well.

What's this about a private development team?

My German and the translators aren't up that much German text. ;)

I forgot to mention that for those still seeking mission advice I have preserved the official walkthrough pages for both Zeus and Pharaoh/Cleopatra on my own website.

These ex-official walkthrough pages can be viewed in english at:

Zeus & Poseidon Walkthroughs - http://members.aol.com/dheitm8612/walkthroughs/zp_walkthroughs.htm

Pharaoh & Cleopatra Walkthroughs - http://members.aol.com/dheitm8612/walkthroughs/PC_Walkthroughs/

Hi Keith, maybe it would be a good idea to submit your links to our link-database. By the way, sash_dc has translated your walkthroughs and hosts them on his internet site!

Development just means that some of us (including me) have the idea to write some city-building game-program ourselves, based on the ideas of the 'old' city building series. Currently there is nothing to show yet, but as soon as there is any usable specification of this thing or usable program code it will be published here, and of course I will then have an english translation of the specification document as well. So just stay tuned...
