I recognized seemingly I've not been the only person wondering what is a 'well'. So, here you can make absolutely clear for it; this is a well:

For the cheats check out on http://www.caesar3.com index-site !!

: A well is the thing in your picture right so then how did you know what it was if you had to go to Water Services and look for a well? When right clicked it can preform cheats, tell you if in service and how diserable to see mor go to the lower left of the screen click and it will give info about well.

Majestix is German, and with the localisation didn't have the word 'well' appear on his/her screen. (It probably said Quelle, or Brunnen). This will apply to all non-english versions and their players.

:) Actually, a well is called 'Ziehbrunnen' in the German version of C3, and a fontaine is called 'Brunnen' ;I remember one topic on this board refering what it is called in French (I don't remember the words - sorry). To myself: it is to be he/his :-)

OK Dennis, There's no way to tell who is Male or Female unless they imply it, or give their name.
I just looked at my dictionary and I see Zieh can mean to draw/get so that makes sense as we say we 'draw water from a well'. Confused? Just another way English can confuse with another word with several meanings.

In German, "well" is "holingroundenferwasserdrinkenhauluppinbukkets." That didn't fit on the button, though.
