I'm having some serious issues getting started with Caesar IV on my new computer. For one, I could not get the new competition game to load, Twisted Nicopolis., it said the file was invalid. I've uninstalled C4 and am reinstalling it in C drive, rather than C:\Program Files.

But anyway, I installed and played a few minutes so I could save a game to see where it got saved and the game is painfully slow. Just to give you an idea, the computer is new, has Vista, has 2GB Ram, 250G Hard Drive, and Intel Duo 2.16G processor.

I would have thought this was pretty much powerful enough, but obviously not. It may be that being new there is too much running in the background, but even then, I find this odd

Has anyone else had either issue of the cs4 file not being valid, and the game being slow in Vista?
