Well, it's not going to happen for me. I had intended to play through on hard using my original strategy.

Spidus and Mike, if you are planning a last minute entry, I have a few suggestions:

1: Use the housing block described here by ADJB. Don't worry about the extra villas, just follow the housing block.
2: Follow ADJB's advice on trade routes and strategy. You can play really fast if you don't have to stop and think it all through.
3: Use the minimap to see how to place the housing block.
4: Play on normal, not hard. Makes things easier.
5: Use the major Mars blessing to train your troops, if you can.

I've just thrown together a last attempt of 1.6 million and all 100's except beauty on 99 on insane.

Score confirmed - for 29,189 points.

Sorry Sorry team thuot i had anuoth week RL has not been frendly was doing it yeserday shoud of chequed the forum whoud of staid up and finshed a submishion.

Just for the record: in view of the RL problems of spidus and his misunderstandings, together with the fact that he has not yet been able made a submission, I have offered to accept a save from him if it reaches me by email by noon (UK time) tomorrow (Tuesday 7th). Hopefully he will be able to finish off a save in time.

EDIT: spidus submitted his save which has been accepted, and is worth 15716 points.
