Story
It came as a surprise to everyone when the Council of Elders decided
to move the All-Atlantis Derby from its traditional home of the Spring
Fields. Perhaps even more surprising was the decision to allow any town
with at least 2000 inhabitants to submit a bid to host the next Derby.
It certainly made up my mind. As far as I was concerned, there was only
one place that deserved to host it: Aintree. All I had to do now was make
sure it was ready..."
Track Record will test your command of logistics and financial management,
as you attempt to build the funkiest racetrack in the West.
Rules
All entries must meet the following completion criteria at the time of
submission:
- Functioning Hippodrome
- Population of 2000
- Slay a Monster
- Save the game in December AD 5
Winning Criteria:
1. Length of Hippodrome (longest wins)
2. Population
Designer's Notes
A rise in the price of urchins is scripted to occur every December, as
a reminder to make your annual save.
The contest maps feature an extra episode goal (9999 people in Estate).
This is purely to block premature victory and should be ignored.
There are no scheduled invasions, but there are some other 'surprises'!
A pyramid is available, but does not need to be built. On the other hand,
if you feel like it...
This map was designed by Caesar Alan and beta-tested by Henrium.
This contest will close at 11PM EST (US), on Tuesday, November 30th.
Please note the date!!!!
This contest has ended.
