Please make sure you play the game from the start at the correct level of difficulty, especially since the file is the same for both difficulties. Please select Mortal (Easy) or Titan (Hard) as per your level on the adventure loading screen.

Story

The mighty island of Thera... Once so beautiful and strong... Then, after all that glory, a volcano eruption destroyed the whole place! I bet the Greeks had a hand in it. Anyway, some Atlanteans happened to be abroad during the disaster. They were miners, sculptors, metallurgists and some others capable of carving and digging. They dug and dug, and finally, they removed all the lava and ruins from the island.

Even though they did some great work, the volcano hasn't completely calmed down yet... It is now the time to bring the Atlantean glory back to the Mediterranean. Someone needs to lead the city, and I don't think I could find anyone better suited than you.

As great as everything seems, there is always someone to ruin it all. The leader of the miners and sculptors, who calls himself "The Sculptor", wants to be raised among the Gods because of his work. If he is to become a God, he must have temples and statues dedicated to him all over Thera, and, he needs a proper name for an immortal. Word is, that one old god has become a mountain and needs someone to take his name.

The zenith of Atlantean glory had been reached centuries ago and is now dead and a couple of new civilizations have arisen...

Designer's Notes

There is no time limit. Wait for a couple of months, and sit back while the disasters happen. No disasters will occur after the ones in the beginning, so you can build your city peacefully.

Preserve some space for the masonry shops and refineries. The space in that area is very limited.

Tip: Big and symmetrical gardens with monuments and pyramids within them are one way to go about your city.

The Sculptor was created by Ticaios, and beta tested by Azeem and YouKnowWho.

This contest will close at 11PM EST (US), on Sunday, April 25th. Please note the date!!!!

This contest has ended.

Good luck and have fun!
