Story

You have already been assessed in your abilities as a trader, as a constructor of diverse housing, as manager of a crisis, as a Governor able to attract a population in a short time, and most recently as a provider of food. Now you will be assessed in your ability as an economic manager.

You will travel to far northern Britannia, where you will build a city entirely for the purpose of turning a profit. I will assess your performance in this phase of the assessment solely on the funds in your treasury. You have two years to accumulate as many denarii as possible.

I expect you to treat your population with the respect they deserve, as the climate in the area is extremely harsh. To this end, your wages and tax rates must at all times remain reasonable.

Rules

Completion Criteria:
Save game in December 8 (last month of countdown).

Winning Criteria:
Balance in city treasury. Highest wins. Show me the denarii!

Additional Rules for this Contest:
Maximum tax rate allowed at any time- 10%.
Minimum wage rate allowed at any time- 30dn.

Designer's Notes
